Information Security Analyst
 Information Security Analyst – are responsible for providing security solutions for their companies. Their main tasks: doing research, collecting data, and maximizing productivity.
  • Minimum qualifications include: 1 to 5 years of experience in a related role, such as a systems administrator. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or other related program.

Security Roles - Intermediate

Penetration Tester
  Penetration Tester – exploits security vulnerabilities in web-based applications, networks and systems. You get to use a series of penetration tools – some predetermined, some that you design yourself. Your ultimate aim is to help an organization improve its security.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher in cyber security, 2 – 5 years of experience on cyber security.

 Chief Information Security Officer
Chief Information Security Officer – It’s high-level stuff, and it requires a unique set of technical skills and extensive experience. CISOs are directly responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all computer, network and data security needs of their employers.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security, expect to spend 7-12 years working in IT and security.
